Broadband is a medium to high speed internet connection for home or work spaces by internet service providers and Telecommunication companies. Internet in Pakistan is provided by internet service providers and telecommunication companies. The requirements tend to vary across companies. In general, these are the eligibility requirements for getting a broadband:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Copy of CNIC
  • Copy of a utility bill
  • Security deposit given to the ISP/Telecommunication company.

Getting the right broadband would depending on what you use your internet connection for. If you use the internet for surfing a 2 Mbps line would suffice. However, if you require heavy downloading a connection of 4Mbps or higher would be required.
